Survivor Deserves a Safe Way Out
Leaving abuse should never mean stepping into homelessness, fear, or another dangerous situation.
Restoring Love is building a safe-housing and relocation program for survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking who need a secure place to turn. Our vision is to help survivors and their children escape immediate danger, relocate when necessary, and begin rebuilding their lives with safety, dignity, and support.
We are working to provide more than temporary shelter. Our goal is to help with safe accommodations, emergency transportation, food, clothing, personal necessities, confidential relocation, family reunification support, and connections to trusted community resources.
No survivor should finally find the courage to escape only to hear, “There is no room,” or “There are no funds available.”
With the support of compassionate donors and community partners, Restoring Love is building an escape route for people who may feel trapped, forgotten, or completely alone.
Behind every number is a life forever changed.
Every day, lives are shattered by domestic violence and human trafficking. In the United States, nearly three women are killed every day by a current or former intimate partner, and 24 people every minute experience rape, physical violence, or stalking by someone they once trusted. Millions of women live in fear, often believing they have nowhere safe to turn.
Human trafficking continues to rob countless women and children of their freedom, dignity, and hope. Thousands of potential trafficking victims are identified through reports and hotline contacts each year, but experts know many more cases go unseen and unreported.
These are not just statistics. They are mothers, daughters, sisters, friends, and children whose lives have been forever changed. At Restoring Love, we believe every survivor deserves more than a way to escape they deserve a safe place to heal, rebuild, and rediscover hope. Together, we can help turn fear into freedom, pain into purpose, and survival into a new beginning.
Recovery, Healing & Hope
The effects of trauma often extend far beyond the moment of crisis. Many survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking have endured years of fear, manipulation, coercion, and emotional abuse. Some were forced or pressured into using drugs or alcohol as a means of control. Others turned to substances in an attempt to cope with overwhelming pain, anxiety, depression, or the lasting effects of trauma. Many people facing homelessness or major life challenges also struggle with substance use after experiencing loss, isolation, or hopelessness.
At Restoring Love, we believe addiction does not define a person's worth, and recovery should never be faced alone. Healing begins when people are met with compassion instead of judgment and are given the opportunity to rebuild their lives with dignity, encouragement, and practical support.
Our vision is to walk alongside individuals on their journey toward recovery by connecting them with supportive resources, recovery focused services, peer encouragement, life skills development, and referrals to qualified treatment providers when appropriate. As we continue to grow, we are working to develop safe, supportive environments where individuals can focus on healing, rebuilding healthy relationships, regaining confidence, and creating a future filled with hope and purpose.
We believe every person deserves the opportunity to break free from the cycles of addiction, trauma, and despair. Through love, accountability, community support, and a commitment to long-term healing, Restoring Love seeks to help people rediscover their value, reclaim their future, and embrace the life they were created to live.
